Well, sort of! I’ve started on my first Obliterator and got past painting the gold, blocking the black back in and starting blocking the flesh. That was all before my back pain stopped me. It’s been getting progressively worse for a few months and now the Doctor has upped my pain killers hopefully it will level out and I will be able to paint for longer. Anyway, here’s the Obliterator in W.I.P form:
Shouldn’t take me too long once I’ve got the flesh done to actually finish him.
Had no time for painting anything for the past few days, just assembling more minis for my Chaos army as well as a full team of Goblins for Blood Bowl.
This weekend is a Warhammer 40k Tournament which is being held at Board In Brum (in Walsall), I don’t expect to finish in the top half but you never know if the dice gods are smiling upon you! I’ve also picked up some of the new Citadel paints (not the contrast ones) like Iron Warriors and Grey Knights Steel to add a bit of variation to my metallics.
So, if all goes well I’ll finish off the Chaos marine Aspiring Champion on Sunday. Then get atarted on a normal marine during the week.
Again it’s been a few months and I finally realised that the website needed a bit of a rehash after the crash I put it though this weekend while trying to update it. So with a new look (Banner still to come) and some new photos in the gallery, I’m relaunching the site!
I’ll be uploading as often as I update the Facebook page (which hasn’t been as often as I’d like) and making some new articles as well as updating a few old ones.
As always thanks for stopping by!

Games Workshop Forgeworld Necromunda Yar Umbra - W.I.P #1
Managed to get Yar Umbra sprayed and started to lay some colour down this evening. I'm enjoying the model so far as he's got a lot of interesting details.
Games Workshop Necromunda Eyros Slagmyst - W.I.P #1
Managed to get an hour painting and got his flesh and 50% of his robes done up to the first highlight. I'm going to work it into a grey then dirty the ends of the robes.
